zikr-e-shab-e-firaaq se vahashat use bhii thii
merii tarah kisii se muhabbat use bhii thii
[zikr-e-shab-e-firaaq = mention of the night of separation]
[vahashat = fear/dread]
mujh ko bhii shauq thaa naye cheharo.n kii diid kaa
rastaa badal ke chalane kii aadat use bhii thii
us raat der tak vo rahaa mahv-e-guftaguu
masruuf mai.n bhii kam thaa faraaGat use bhii thii
[mahv-e-guftaguu = immersed in conversation]
[masruuf = busy; faraaGat = leisure/freedom from business]
sunataa thaa vo bhii sab se puraanii kahaaniyaa.N
taazaa rafaaqato.n kii zaruurat use bhii thii
[rafaaqat = friendship]
mujh se bichha.D ke shahar me.n ghul mil gayaa vo shaKhs
haalaa.Nke shahar bhar se raqabat use bhii thii
[haalaa.N ke = although; raqabat = enmity]
vo mujh se ba.Dh ke zabt kaa aadii thaa jii gayaa
varnaa har ek saa.Ns qayaamat use bhii thii
[zabt = tolerance/restraint; aadii = habituated]

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U)- “Avoid the seven noxious things. (1) Associating anything with God, (2) magic, (3) killing one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, (4) devouring usury, (5) consuming the property of an orphan, running back from the battlefield and, (7) slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.”

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U)- “Righteousness is good morality, and wrongdoing is that which wavers in your soul and which you dislike people finding out about.”

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U)- “'Messenger of God, who is most deserving of friendly care from me?' He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, 'Your mother.' He asked who came next, and He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, 'Your mother.' He asked who came next and He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, 'Your mother.' He asked who came next and He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, 'Your father.'”
