Microsoft recently announced the beta of its upcoming Office Live Workspaces
free services for Office users and everyone is invited. Originally,
they introduced the beta testing for Office Live Workspaces in October.

According to Eric Gilmore, senior product manager for Office, “We’re taking the ‘private’ label off,”
With that, Microsoft is also adding new features to the Office live workspaces beta which will be including e-mail notifications when a document changes on the site, as well as a multi-file upload with drag and drop capabilities. Beta testers will also be able to see an activity panel that shows users the changes occurred after their last login. They can also bookmark a workspace or a workspace item.
